Sharon Henley is Head of Marketing at The Royal Mint. She leads the team responsible for corporate branding, communications, product management and product marketing. Sharon brings more than 15 years of experience leading marketing, product management and strategy teams. With a focus on growing the business Sharon is bringing new products to market across the business divisions from consumer products and bullion products and services to The Royal Mint’s latest venture including Royal Mint Gold (RMG); a tradable, digital, direct ownership of gold which utilises blockchain technology to provide many advantages over other gold investment products. Before joining The Royal Mint, Sharon worked in product management and marketing at several companies, bringing multi-million dollar products and services to market. She has worked in strategic R&D and product development across the USA, in Silicon Valley and New York. She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in science and an MBA from Imperial College London. Sharon has recently been elected as communications, PR and marketing director for the British Blockchain Association, where she will be evangelizing the organisation, promoting memberships, promoting the BBA journal and encouraging participation in BBA events.
